New Japan Pro Wrestling has a lot of people who WWE would like to have in the company. However, they might not be able to get too many of them to actually sign with them. Michael Elgin recently announced that he is leaving NJPW, and that seems to possibly open another door.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that after Elgin’s NJPW deal expired on March 31st he is free to go elsewhere. This was also said to be a decision that he made on his own to not re-sign with New Japan. It could also be the start of talks of Elgin coming to WWE.

“There has also been prelim talk with him and WWE, which, if something comes of that, would make sense both that he’s been quiet since they don’t want you talking about it and also that he’s leave.”

We will have to wait and see if Michael Elgin and WWE can come to some sort of a deal. A guy like Elgin could be used in many different ways in WWE’s system from a coach to a Superstar.
