Ronda Rousey is now a heel and pulling off that persona very well. She lit up the internet with “shoot video” where she called WWE out for being scripted. She also dropped a ton of profanities and said that she’s doing whatever she wants and WWE will just have to write around it.

During a recent YouTube video on Rousey’s channel, she went to Pittsburgh for last weeks’ RAW. During the video, she admitted that anyone else who tried to put out a video as she did would have probably been handed their walking papers.

“I think they would have got fired [if they made a similar video], which might be one reason why maybe it’s a double standard that’s pissing people off. [Go get a medal and beat some women up for real], then you can say f*ck.”

Ronda Rousey can get away with doing things like this because of who she is. Rousey brought a ton of attention to her WrestleMania storyline with that video and it was picked up by major outlets by the end of the week. WWE adores that kind of publicity.

The video very likely had to get approved before she put it online which is a huge difference. So while other WWE Superstars might be getting a little loose with their language on social media don’t expect any of them to shoot on the company because they might not have a job after WWE sees it.
