The WWE Hall Of Fame has consisted of a Warrior Award for the past few years. This award was named after the Ultimate Warrior who proposed it during his induction speech as an award for the backstage crew and unsung heroes in WWE. It has since been awarded to anyone who displays a Warrior Spirit.

WWE announced that Sue Aitchison will receive the Warrior Award in the 2019 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame. She was a long-time WWE employee working for the company for 30 years and is credited for spearheading WWE’s community outreach programs.

Dana Warrior is said to be presenting this award to Aitchison during the ceremony. So at least the Warrior Award will have someone inducting the Hall Of Fame inductee.

Stephanie McMahon said of Sue Aitchison’s induction:

“Sue has dedicated her entire career to helping Wish kids fulfill their dreams and putting smiles on countless families’ faces. Her heart and character epitomize the essence of the Warrior Award. She is an unsung hero who deserves to be recognized and immortalized in the WWE Hall of Fame.”

This is a great honor and fully deserved. She has a long history with the company and is much-loved as well.
