WWE has a few short weeks to plan WrestleMania 35. They have quite a few options when it comes to the SmackDown Women’s Title, but they haven’t made up their mind just yet.

John Pollock noted on Post Wrestling that WWE’s plan to pair Asuka with Lacey Evans is no longer their current direction. Asuka still remains somewhat of a question in regards to who she will be facing at this point.

It will be interesting to see what WWE decides to do with Asuka at WrestleMania. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that it appears Asuka is in line to defend her title against Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a triple threat match.

You would think that even if Lacey Evans doesn’t find her way in that match that WWE still has a plan for her. For all we know, the plan might be for Evans to do a walk-in to wave to the WrestleMania crowd and insert herself into the triple threat match to make a fatal fourway if that is WWE’s direction.
