WWE has a lot of titles, but the most recent addition is the Women’s Tag Team Titles currently held by Sasha Banks and Bayley. They won their titles at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event and have yet to defend them. However, with WrestleMania coming up they could have a big match in store for them if they can beat Nia Jax and Tamina at WWE Fastlane.

Bryan Alvarez mentioned a rumor he has heard during Wrestling Observer Live. Apparently, WWE is planning something very big for the Women’s Tag Team titles at WrestleMania that could see the new championships go to any WWE brand.

“We do have Bayley and Sasha Banks as Women’s Tag Team Champions and they’re probably going to have a major match on the WrestleMania show. The rumors — I don’t know if this is what they’re going to do, but based on what I’ve heard and the storylines they’ve done on television I would presume it’s gonna be a multi-brand tag match where they’re going to defend the belts — probably four corners against a team from RAW, a team from SmackDown, and a team from NXT.”

This is a very interesting idea, but it also means that if WWE is considering this direction then they might have moved past the idea of having a Team Bestie return for Trish Stratus and Lita to face The Boss n Hug Connection at the show of shows.

We will have to wait and see, but if WWE does this match then we have to wonder why the company was writing Bayley and Banks to drop such huge hints on RAW that they wanted a tag team match against Team Bestie even before the Women’s Tag Team Titles were officially announced.
