WWE has changed a lot of things about WrestleMania and Fastlane recently. At this point it’s hard to know exactly where WWE is taking things because Vince McMahon can always just change his mind over the weekend.

Tom Phillips recently called into Busted Open Radio where he discussed the recent changes in WWE’s creative direction and how much it much it alters things. It’s got to be a fun job to have.

“Things really took a turn this week for Fastlane. It completely changed the complexion of the pay-per-view. There’s so many changed in the last 48-72 hours with RAW and SmackDown and everything. Even last night had some twists and turns and all that stuff. So I’m pretty excited, this will be my third WrestleMania coming up and it’s always different, it’s never the same thing twice. It’s really, really a fun time right now.”

Phillips knows a thing or two about the action and all of the changes because he gets a front-row seat for the blue brand’s show each week while he calls the action in the ring. Phillips was there when Kofi Kingston’s WWE Title opportunity was taken away from him and knows that you can always expect the unexpected in WWE.

Let’s just hope all of those sudden changes are for the better.
