Rey Mysterio Set To Drive Pace Car At NASCAR Race

Rey Mysterio has been fortunate enough to experience a lot of very cool things in his career. Now he will get to take part in something he probably didn’t even consider as a possibility. Because Mr. 6-1-9 will be driving the pace car at NASCAR’s Auto Club 400 race.

The event is scheduled for March 17th and Mysterio spoke to the driver of the #41 car Daniel Suarez about the upcoming gig. Mysterio is obviously very excited about this. The San Diego native will feel right at home in Fontana, California as the cars race 200 times around the track.

The former WWE Champion will be leading forty cars around the track to kick off the race. Rey Mysterio said it gives him chills just thinking about it. Suarez then reminded Mysterio how they are “forty crazy drivers” as well which has to be comforting.
