Daniel Bryan is WWE Champion and that comes with a great amount of social responsibility that he takes very seriously. He introduced new title last night constructed from wood and hemp and the crowd in Phoenix really appreciated the hemp jokes.
What fans at home didn’t see was an amazing segment that never aired on television. It took place as Randy Orton was coming to the ring. First off, Daniel Bryan chastised fans for chanting Daisy the cow’s name. This is the same cow that gave her life for the WWE Title because they kill a whole cow to make a leather strap in Daniel Bryan’s version of reality.
He didn’t like this one bit and the crowd kept going hot for him. It was a great way to keep up the momentum during the commercial break. Soon Orton chimed in and he had something to say as well. He doesn’t care about Bryan’s causes and he doesn’t recycle either.
AJ Styles chimed in the conversation by saying he was going to take out Daniel Bryan “and his big-headed lumberjackass.” This prompted the crowd to chant “Lumberjackass” at Rowan. Let’s hope that catches on.
Jeff Hardy entered next right before SmackDown Live came back from commercial. We would have never seen this segment go down if it wasn’t for WWE putting it on YouTube.
This was a pretty good decision to make this segment available because it turns out that they saved some of the best one-liners of the night for a commercial break.
