SPOILER: Former WWE Superstar Booked For Royal Rumble Match

The 2019 Royal Rumble will invade Chase Field very soon and plenty of fans are waiting to be surprised. There are a few people WWE could call to get a good pop from the crowd, and it looks like they have already made a call to one of them.

Mike Johnson noted on PW Insider Elite audio that a source called him to let him know that Hornswoggle is booked to appear in the Royal Rumble match after Johnson himself joked about it on the previous one day.

“Dave and I talked I joked yesterday about this name, but then last night I got a call from someone who told me that I was actually right and as far as they knew Hornswoggle was booked for the Royal Rumble. So spoiler warning, obviously.”

Hornswoggle never burned any bridges with WWE and he has appeared for the company after his release before. You never know when WWE could need him, but in the meantime, any chance he gets to appear on WWE television will keep him even more relevant as he continues to stay incredibly busy on the indie wrestling scene.
