Unfortunately, wrestling isn’t always the safest sport. While the performers and companies always do their best to ensure they are safe, injuries are unavoidable.

Impact Wrestling Superstar and former Champion Matt Sydal has confirmed on Twitter that he will be undergoing surgery next Thursday in an attempt to repair torn cartilage in his knee.

He appears to be looking to March or April for a return to the ring. In the meantime, he will be teaching wrestling online and through the WWN Live training center.
