Brock Lesnar surprised a lot of people when he won the Universal Championship once again at WWE Crown Jewel. Some expected Braun Strowman to win the title after Roman Reigns relinquished it, but Lesnar signed a new deal with more dates. While the specifics of this new deal remain unclear, it’s apparent that WWE and Lesnar have something worked out.
Dana White was questioned about bringing Brock Lesnar back into the UFC during a recent press conference, but White replied that he heard Lesnar might be busy at this point.
“One of the guys I met with yesterday during PR told me that he had heard Brock Lesnar just signed a bunch of WWE deals.”
Dana White said he’s not focused on Brock Lesnar right now, but if he needed to call Lesnar then he could. White said that Daniel Cormier is hurt right now so it’s a moot point to discuss a fight between Lesnar and Cormier. However, when DC gets better then White said he’s calling someone like Brock Lesnar.
It will be very interesting to see what Lesnar and WWE’s relationship is like in the upcoming months. As Lesnar runs out his USADA suspension we could see him appear in both WWE and UFC depending on whatever he decides to do.
