X-Pac 1, 2, 360 Recap w/ Darren Young – Relationship With WWE, Coming Out As A WWE Superstar, Future in Wrestling, More!
X-Pac welcomes Fred Rosser (formerly Darren Young) to the show.
X-Pac says he can’t comprehend why anyone wouldn’t accept Rosser, who’s openly gay, especially in 2018. Rosser says he’s doing fine, but there are plenty of people around the world that aren’t. Every morning when his feet touch the ground he knows there’s someone that needs his help.
He points out that he wasn’t the first gay WWE Superstar and he won’t be the last, so he’s working hard to spread love and help everyone understand the struggle that some people go through on a daily basis. It’s his goal to help as many of those people as possible.
Rosser informs that he wrestled one of his dream matches recently, when he went one-on-one with Billy Gunn. He jokes that his goal was to out-sell Gunn in the match because Gunn was always known as an incredible seller. X-Pac agrees, adding that nobody could feed for a babyface comeback like Gunn.
Rosser notes that when he was young and had dreams of becoming a WWE Superstar there were no gay Superstars for him to follow. He had a fear of coming out because he didn’t want people to look at him differently. He had many highs and lows over the years and that didn’t get any easier when he was released by WWE. He loves the wrestling business and since he’s only 35 years old he knows he has lots left in the tank.
