Today is a sad day for any fan of pro wrestling, especially if you remember the British Bulldogs and the wonderful work Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith did during their time in WWE. Now the pro wrestling world is reacting to Kid’s passing as they send out words to honor his life.
Dynamite Kid was known for more than just a tag team wrestler and had a singles career apart from the legendary British Bulldogs team. Davey Boy Smith passed away in 2002 at the age of 39-years-old and now Kid has followed passing away on December 5th, 2018 on the day of his 60th birthday.
Kid’s influence stretched far beyond American and British pro wrestling as well and his international celebrity status was notable. We are deeply saddened by this news and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Dynamite Kid’s family, friends, and anyone else who was touched by the efforts he put forth in the pro wrestling ring every time the bell sounded.
You will find words to honor Dynamite Kid’s contributions to pro wrestling and his incredible life posted below from some notable names in pro wrestling. Also, please keep refreshing this article throughout the day as we will be adding more reactions as they are posted.
RIP Dynamite Kid. I’m still trying to process where and why. I never thought winding down would involve me watching so many friends moving on before me. Only love. Yo D, we sure had some really fun times. I loved being in the same dressing room with u and Davey, brother HH

Saddened to hear about the passing of Dynamite Kid. There was a time I watched every Dynamite match I could get my hands on including this tribute video countless times. Despite many attempts of re-creating his magic I would never come close. https://t.co/OzLSl4JCW7 via @YouTube

Dynamite Kid and Tiger Mask made me want to be in New Japan when I was younger. Even more so than the WWF. My first ever real job in wrestling happened to be New Japan, as soon as i graduated high school and turned 18. To say it was an honor to step into the ring in the company where these two guys built what we know today as “Cruiserweights” is an understatement. I’m very sad to hear that we lost Dynamite ? ?
RIP Dynamite Kid. One of the best to every come from these islands.
Everyone take seventeen minutes of your life to watch the man in action in his prime. https://t.co/Ob83Bqq9Lj
