NXT is WWE’s developmental territory where they groom talent for the main roster and that also applies to backstage personalities. A couple backstage interviewers came up from NXT and Renee Young frequented the WWE Performance Center as she worked on her commentary skills.
Now we have a new backstage personality in NXT as Alicia Warrington announced via Twitter that she will be the latest member of the NXT announce team.
“BEYOND excited to announce – I am now working w the WWE  I am your host #AliciaTaylor newest member of WWENXT Announce Team. It is a complete honor to be a part of THE BEST in sports entertainment. Looking forward to 1st NXT loop this weekend & meeting the #NXTuniverse,” she wrote on Twitter.
It sounds like her name in NXT will be Alicia Taylor and she’s going to get right to work for the company. It’s also unclear exactly what kind of responsibilities she will have starting off.
Warrington/Taylor is actually a pretty accomplished rock n roll drummer as well, so you never know when they might use that hidden talent on television.

In case you’re wondering, here’s a video compilation of NXT’s newest announce team member murdering the drums at various rock shows.
