Vince McMahon has a lot of cash to go around, but apparently, he needs more for something. With the XFL’s revival coming in 2020 and McMahon paying for the entire reboot allegedly all by himself, he might be able to use some extra funds. For whatever reason, Vince McMahon just unloaded a huge chunk of WWE stock.
According to SEC filings, Vince McMahon sold $22,866,523.61 worth of WWE stock on November 30th. In total, he got rid of 306,000 shares of stock.
This is a very interesting turn of events for McMahon, but he still has a load of stock left. But it might be a sign of how much money this new XFL endeavor is going to end up really costing him.
Of course, McMahon isn’t the only high-level WWE exec to sell off a load of stock in recent months. Back when the stock was at its highest price, Kevin Dunn among others got rid of truckload of WWE stock as well.
