Why Impact Wrestling Pulled LAX From Match With WWE NXT Talent

There was once a great idea of bringing LAX into EVOLVE and it could have given fans a chance to see a great merging of talent, but sadly, it’s not happening. But the real question is why LAX won’t be facing the Street Profits in EVOLVE.

Mike Johnson explained on PW Insider Elite audio why Impact Wrestling pulled the plug on bringing LAX into EVOLVE and facing some eager NXT talent.
“Impact I was told specifically they didn’t want LAX in the ring with NXT guys. They didn’t want there to be footage in the WWE video library of TNA guys getting beaten by WWE guys.”
So it looks like Impact Wrestling was able to see ahead of the game and realize that LAX would have lost the match. It’s just a shame though because Santana and Ortiz are very entertaining and it might be nice to see them branch out a little bit, especially into WWE.
