WWE is holding Starrcade in Cincinnati, Ohio tonight. The card is massive, with several premier matches taking place. Given that the company has confirmed the show will air on the WWE Network, many are expecting these matches to be on the card.
As we now know, only four of the ten segments lined up for the show tonight will make it to the WWE Network. Of these- only two are matches. The other two are segments hosted by The Miz and Elias.
One match will see Sasha Banks, Bayley, Ember Moon, and Dana Brooke take on Nia Jax, Tamina, Mickie James, and Alicia Fox. The other match is Samoa Joe vs. AJ Styles in a Steel Cage. This was likely set to be for the WWE Championship before Daniel Bryan defeated “The Phenomenal One” on SmackDown Live before Survivor Series.
The two segments, in particular, are an Elias concert with Ric Flair, and a Miz TV segment involving Shinsuke Nakamura and Rey Mysterio. It is worth noting that Nakamura and Mysterio will be squaring off for the United States Championship during the show, but that segment hasn’t been listed by The Inquisitr as being filmed tonight.
There is the possibility that WWE decides to film further content for the Network. At this time, however, it appears the card will be extremely short for the televised version of the event. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to let you know.
