Possible Storyline Stemming From NXT TakeOver: WarGames Conclusion

NXT TakeOver: WarGames left a lot for the WWE main roster to live up to the next night at Survivor Series. The main event of the TakeOver event involved a WarGames match with Undisputed Era vs War Raiders, Pete Dunne, and Ricochet. After an absolute battle, both Dunne and Ricochet ended up pinning Adam Cole to win the match for the babyface team.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that the double-pin there is a lot more in store for the overall NXT storyline coming up on NXT will most likely stem from that WarGames finish.

“The double pinfall in WarGames where it was Pete Dunne and Ricochet both pinning Adam Cole. There is a storyline there that will lead to the next TakeOver and given who has what belts you can probably figure it out.”

Since both Ricochet and Pete Dunne hold championships, The One And Only is the NXT North American Champion and The Bruiserweight is the WWE United Kingdom Champion, so there could be a very interesting champion vs champion match coming up for WrestleMania weekend.
