Professional wrestling is not ballet and for indie wrestlers, it’s a way of life and sometimes they don’t have a safety net. WWE Superstars get paid a downside guarantee when they’re out with an injury and WWE fixes them up and schedules them with the best doctors they can get. But indie wrestlers are pretty much left on their own if they can’t wrestle and if they can’t wrestle then usually that means they can’t work and they’re not getting paid.
Pro Wrestling Tees sells a ton of Bullet Club merchandise and their merch is even featured in Hot Topic stores all over the place. But they recently did something pretty cool that is worth nothing. They have now dedicated a special section of their website to the merchandise of injured wrestlers.
At this time, the Help Injured Wrestlers page only features a few names but they’re all incredibly popular. At this time Rosemary, Tenille Dashwood, Marko Stunt, Joey Janela, Joey Ryan, and Hiromu Takahashi are included on this list so you can check out their merch and now that they probably aren’t getting many other paychecks in the meantime besides merch money.
We’re in a time right now when some of our favorite indie wrestlers might be on the shelf and that’s never a good thing for fans or the workers. So this is a really cool thing that PW Tees is doing and it’s the kind of thing that we hope they keep up and update regularly but they won’t need to.
On that note, you can check out our Ringside News gear at Pro Wrestling Tees while you’re helping out one of your favorite injured indie workers.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
