CM Punk kicked off 2014 with walking out of WWE after the Royal Rumble event. There were a lot of issues and he was miserable. But apparently, there is one thing that would help him come back to WWE and the world of professional wrestling, a time machine.
CM Punk is about to step into a commentator role for an event which will be on UFC’s streaming network so hopefully, he’ll be able to transition that into commentary. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Punk’s initial long-term goal would be to capture a commentator role at cageside.
The Second City Savior recently appeared on WGN Morning News and he was asked what it would take to get him to make a return to wrestling and his response was: “a time machine.”
Hopefully, Punk will be happy in whatever he was doing and at this point, he’s made enough money to do it. But don’t think that Punk will be making a return anytime soon because nobody has invented a time machine the best we can tell.
