WWE’s Survivor Series event is going on this Sunday in Los Angeles California at the Staples Center. They had to scramble in order to make sure the event actually had a card in some respects with Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair and Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan being switched around at the last minute.
This also leaves a hole in the Women’s Survivor Series match between the two WWE brands as well seeing how Flair was inserted into Rousey’s spot but no replacement was announced. There is also a rumor going around that Shane McMahon could be switched out for Randy Orton eventually as well but it looks like WWE is running out of time for that change unless they script something for the event.
The kickoff show starts at 5:00 pm EST and if you plan to sit through the entire event, you might need to bring a snack.
People are talking about the crazy changes to the card, but they aren’t really talking about how long Survivor Series will be. As Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio, Survivor Series is slated to be a six-hour event this year.
If I were a betting man the crowd in the Staples Center will be very tired when all is said and done.
Also, since the event experienced such a change-up at the last minute you can find the updated card below.

  • Brock Lesnar vs Daniel Bryan
