WWE Hall of Famer Edge most recently appeared for the company on the thousandth episode of SmackDown Live, where he was involved in the storyline between Charlotte Flair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
As you, the reader, are likely aware of, Edge is one-half of a well-known podcast. Of course, we are talking about Edge & Christian’s Pod of Awesomeness. The show, for many fans, was one of the best weekly podcasts out there and catered towards what fans wanted to hear.
Throughout their podcast, Edge and Christian had the opportunity to talk to wrestlers from WWE and on a broader spectrum, the wrestling world itself. Their last episode featured former NXT North American Champion Adam Cole and was released in late September of this year.
Due to a number of projects and their contract with Podcast One ending, the duo decided to take a break from podcasting. While this certainly upset many fans, it was a decision that most stood by- given what other wrestlers and in particular, Chris Jericho has had to say about Podcast One.
Edge teased an announcement on Twitter, and would later confirm that after their break that lasted multiple months, he and Christian would be returning to the podcasting world to continue their weekly podcast- announcing a plethora of guests and revealing that they are now partnered with Westwood One. Westwood One are the hosts for the majority of other wrestling-based podcasts now.

As you can see from the tweet above, Edge has announced that Shawn Michaels and Nita Strauss will be two of their first huge guests. With two massive guests on their return, it is likely the podcast isn’t going anywhere moving forward.
