Brock Lesnar surprised everyone at WWE Crown Jewel when he won the WWE Universal Title once again. Now he is a part-time champion and it doesn’t appear we will be seeing much of him.

Of course, Lesnar is booked to be at Raw this week to hype his upcoming champion vs champion match at Survivor Series against AJ Styles. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lesnar likes AJ Styles though.

This doesn’t stop the issue that Lesnar doesn’t look like he’ll be defending his Universal Championship anytime soon.

Meltzer noted on MMA Fighting that Lesnar’s deal dow allow him to take UFC fights in the meantime but the real question is whether or not Brock will take WWE up on that offer. With Roman Reigns out for the foreseeable future, Vince McMahon made a new offer to Lesnar and he took on being WWE Universal Champion once again.

The new deal is reported to be for multiple shows, but the timing is being kept secretive. It is known though that Lesnar is scheduled as late as April of next year to work WrestleMania 34. Therefore, we should at least be expecting to see The Beast Incarnate until then.

Only time will tell when WWE decides to have Lesnar drop the Universal Title, but apparently, they have until WrestleMania at this point to figure it out.
