Impact Wrestling is always looking for new stars to bring eyeballs to their television show and pay-per-views. But it seemed that they went against bring in a 5-time X Division Champion at Bound For Glory.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Low Ki (Kaval in WWE) was in talks to return as Rich Swann’s partner in his match against Ethan Page and Matt Sydal. It was said that “Ki can be hard to deal with.”
Therefore, talks between the 2 sides fell through and Willie Mack was brought in for the spot instead. The crowd still loved the tag team match as some noted it was their favorite bout on the card.
Only time will tell if Impact Wrestling and Low Ki will be able to work something out in the future, but it certainly didn’t work out at Bound For Glory.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
