Huge Name Backstage At SmackDown 1000

SmackDown’s 1000th episode is set to air in about 2 hours and we have some breaking news here. It looks like Shane McMahon has dropped by Washington DC where the events is being held.
Shane McMahon is reportedly backstage at SmackDown Live. It’s been floating around on Wrestling Twitter and we have reached out to our sources who have confirmed this fact.
He might be backstage just because it’s a big night for the show that he’s technically the Commissioner of, but it’s also probably likely he’ll appear on television. Either way, it’s always good to know Shane McMahon is around in case they need him.
SmackDown 1000 will be a big night and it will be full of special guests. The Rock might even do something for the show and if it’s only a pretaped segment, then at least he took the time out of his busy schedule to do that.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
