WWE legend Chris Jericho has revealed that he isn’t interested in competing in WWE’s World Cup tournament for the upcoming Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia.
Jericho, 47, was involved in the Greatest Royal Rumble event, but it appears as if WWE Crown Jewel isn’t in his future. Still, we all know that he can be quite the troll so there’s a chance he’s playing the WWE Universe here, although he certainly has a lot on his plate right now.
From his upcoming cruise to his NJPW return to rumours of an appearance in Impact Wrestling, Y2J seems to be getting better with age and is showing no signs of slowing down.

The World Cup tournament is set to feature on the stacked November 2nd show in Riyadh with John Cena, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy already qualifying as part of a stacked line up. It appears as if they’re going with a legend/veteran theme, so it would make sense for someone like Jericho to take part.
Crown Jewel is shaping up to be one of the biggest cards in recent history for WWE, with the return of Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan also being announced.
If Jericho does end up participating then it’d serve as proof that he’s still one of the most dynamic stars in professional wrestling today, with an ability to jump back and forth between some of the biggest promotions in the world. You may not like him, but you certainly have to respect his work ethic.
