During RAW last night, Kevin Owens and Bobby Lashley seemingly made a rare and tricky double turn during their bout. After Lashley was victorious, he continued to attack the former Universal Champion.
This has subsequently led to WWE announcing that Owens has now sustained injuries to both of his knees and will undergo further evaluation to determine the level of damage.
This is obviously an attempt by WWE to continue with their storyline, and it is incredibly unlikely that Owens is actually injured. Both he and Lashley were safe, and there is no reason to panic.
WWE had the following to say:

“Kevin Owens sustained injuries to both knees when Bobby Lashley viciously wrapped Owens’ legs around a turnbuckle after their match, WWE.com can confirm.
Owens will undergo further evaluation tomorrow to determine the full extent of the damage.”

It is likely Owens will be back on WWE’s flagship program by the next PPV and will continue his dominance. His stock continues to rise, while Owens appears to have lost over 80% of his matches this year- the worst in his eighteen-year career.
