Renee Young has commented on her official promotion, with WWE unveiling her as a full time member of the Monday Night Raw commentary team.
Young, who has been with WWE since back in 2012, has been slowly progressing up the ladder in the company for quite some time. She’s been a commentator down in NXT, a backstage interviewer, an in-the-ring interviewer, a Total Divas member and so much more – but now, she’s finally being recognised by the WWE brass in the right kind of way.
Young is known for being a fun-loving and energetic person, and she could barely contain herself on social media after the revelation was made.

The WWE has helped launch Renee into the upper echelons when it comes to on-air reporters, with many fans finding it hard to believe that she hasn’t actually made the transition to somewhere like ESPN yet.
Of course, that’s a big step up in many ways, but it’s something that isn’t all too rare when it comes to WWE commentators. Both Jonathan Coachman and Todd Grisham went on to spend time with ESPN, and Grisham is even signed to the UFC.
Regardless of that, though, it seems as if Renee is happier than ever with her current position, and she has every right to be. Now that she’s a part of the commentary team on a full time basis, hundreds upon hundreds of young women will look towards her as a role model – with Young proving that anything in possible in the modern era of WWE.
