Ronda Rousey Makes Promise To The WWE Universe

Ronda Rousey walked out of SummerSlam as the new Raw Women’s Champion on the same night Brock Lesnar dropped his title to Roman Reigns in Brooklyn. Now she is speaking out on the honor and it sounds like she’s taking her new responsibility very seriously.

Some people thought someone like Rousey might not be dedicated, but her new promise to the WWE Universe sounds incredibly heartfelt as she spilled her emotions in a caption to her holding the Raw Women’s Title.

“The creativity of fate never ceases to amaze me,” Rousey said. “I do not take this responsibility lightly. I will devote every fiber of my being to carry on and elevate the legacy of the scores of women who gave their bodies and hearts to the WWE to get us this far.”

Let’s see how long Rousey is able to keep her title, but if WWE is smart they’ll let her grow pretty attached to it. Then again, a babyface like Rousey has a lot of possibility of chasing the title as well.
