WWE Reveals SummerSlam Opening Featuring Terry Crews

WWE has released the official opening for this year’s SummerSlam event. The video heavily features famous actor Terry Crews, as he recites what appears to be a powerful-sounding poem ahead of SummerSlam.

The opening hypes up the majority of matches confirmed for the card- including the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship titles and more.

Crews may also be familiar with wrestling fans as he and RAW Superstar Apollo Crews haven’t seen eye to eye in regards to their last name. It does seem, however, that any controversy between the two men has been cleared up, as evidenced by Crews’ appearance in this SummerSlam introduction.
