Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns are likely going to end SummerSlam this year, but the result of their matches can never be predicted, after all we’ve been burned by guessing what will happen between them before.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that WWE is currently toying with 2 different booking decisions for the match to tell the story at the end of SummerSlam. Either way, WWE needs to figure out how to raise the value of their Universal Title.

“There are 2 ideas for the Lesnar/Roman match. One of them is a rather short match.”

”The other is, you guessed it, a longer match. And by long match I mean one of the longer matches Brock has been in since being in the company.”

It was said WWE will decide what they are going to do on the day of the show or close to it. There are a couple different ways they could write this depending on what Brock Lesnar decides to do, but this is just another “wait and see” kind of situation.
