WWE is a great place to make money, but it’s not the only way to make a living in pro wrestling. After all, you can do just fine on your own if you play your cards right.

With ROH’s big MSG coming up soon, some people are wondering if WWE will make a play for a chunk of their roster just to stifle MSG show during WrestleMania weekend. Dave Meltzer discussed this briefly during Wrestling Observer Radio where he gave an interesting answer.

“WWE has the ability to afford everyone. One of the things going on right now is they’re wondering are they making giant offers to beat the money that these guys make as of today they are not.”

“Now they may come in 3 months and do that. They’re not right now. Right now they’re trying to keep that salary structure.”

If WWE were to start offering big money to guys coming in, it might cause a problem with the guys currently on the roster with lower contracts. Only time will tell what happens, but it might be hard to pass up some of these deals once the money is on the table.
