When someone leaves WWE it’s never “goodbye for good,” it’s always “see ya later”. This was the case for pretty much anyone who has ever been released from WWE and it certainly is the case for Big Cass.

Cass wasn’t wished the best of luck in his future endeavors, but he’s finding his own way now. But since WWE owns the name he used to go by, including Colin Cassady, Big Cass had to get creative.

Cass is now going by Big Cazz which is just about as clever as you can get, right? He is booked for an upcoming Big Time Wrestling event on September 21st along with other notable names like Emma, Mick Foley, Tommy Dreamer, and James Ellsworth. It’s interesting to note how Cass is pictured front and center as the main attraction for the show.

Only time will tell if this will spawn a great career on the indies, but we will just have to wait and see. It will also be interesting to see how much time passes before Big Cazz and Real1 are teamed up once more in a town near you.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
