It was reported earlier this month via Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that The Young Buck’s contract with Ring of Honor expire sometime in October, however that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Meltzer mentioned in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that it was outright said on the July 20th ROH broadcast that The Young Bucks contract with the company expires after the Final Battle show in September. Meltzer claimed that the September date is correct and the reason they mentioned the contract expiration date is part of a storyline idea that if they win the tag titles that they have great leverage in a new deal.

It remains to be seen what happens with The Bucks once their contract expires, as it’s been rumored for months now that they could be WWE bound but that all will be determined on what type of deal WWE can offer them.
