Rey Mysterio’s Current WWE Contract Status

Rey Mysterio’s return to WWE seems like a sure thing at this point. He said he is open to a return and spoke about a 3-year deal while he was getting a day named in his honor recently. But we haven’t heard anything official.

There were reports earlier this week saying Mysterio has signed a WWE contract but it was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that any reports in that vein are premature.

“It should be noted that we haven’t heard Mysterio has signed, but the reports of his signing at least as of last week were premature. As noted, we do expect that he will sign at some point.”

Mysterio might be in WWE sooner than later, but he hasn’t signed a new deal just yet. As always, we promise to let you know as soon as we hear anything official but we’ll keep you up to date on any movement in Mysterio’s situation in the meantime.
