Chad Gable May Have a New Tag Team Partner

Chad Gable was once one half of American Alpha. Alongside Jason Jordan, Gable won both the SmackDown and NXT Tag Team Championships. However, Jordan was drafted to RAW after WrestleMania last year, forcing the team to separate on good terms.

In what may be a sign of things to come, Gable was featured both on RAW and the taping for Main Event this week. What is more interesting of the two is the appearance Gable had on Main Event. There he teamed with No Way Jose to take on The Ascension.

While this could always be sporadic booking by WWE to get both Gable and Jose featured, there is every likelihood this was a testing ground for both Jose and Gable to determine whether they have any chemistry to form a potential team.

Both men do not appear to be doing anything on RAW, so a tag team between the two could shoot both men up into the RAW Tag Team Championship scene.
