Deam Ambrose has been out of action since before The Royal Rumble. After having triceps surgery, he was then in recovery mode awaiting his return. Initial reports said he would be out around 9 months, but there’s always the possibility of him having super-human Cena healing strength.

Dave Meltzer commented on Ambrose’s injury during Wrestling Observer Radio. He thinks it’ll be soon because we’re approaching the date he was told to expect him back.

“He’s supposed to be back sometime by I think pretty soon. I was told late-Summer and we’re mid-Summer so it shouldn’t be too long.”

It looks like we still might stand a chance of seeing Ambrose pop in at SummerSlam or at least the night afterward. Here’s hoping because he’s gotten serious about his rehabbing moving to Birmingham to be closer to his doctors.
