Daniel Bryan’s status with WWE could be up in the air for some because his contract is up in September and he reportedly hasn’t signed a new deal just yet. But there is obviously hope within WWE that Bryan will re-sign.
Obviously, Daniel Bryan could go out into the indies and make a good living and work at his leisure but WWE is the “big time” and the most money could be assured if he stuck around.
Wrestle Votes says that WWE has invested in Daniel Bryan’s name for a reason. He is featured in the upcoming WWE 2k19 video game which he is featured in as the WWE Showcase Character.
He says there’s a reason for WWE to push Bryan in this way on their upcoming video game since it wouldn’t look good if Bryan appeared in a video game after he decides to leave the company. Therefore, it is said WWE has a strong idea that Daniel Bryan will be sticking around.
