Brock Lesnar’s Status for SummerSlam

Brock Lesnar is still not confirmed for the upcoming SummerSlam event.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer’s forums that while the presumption is that he will be appearing at SummerSlam, he still hasn’t been confirmed for the event.

“Just checked on this. Nothing has changed at all since what was in this week’s Observer. Vince has not made the call yet on his next show, but the presumption is still SummerSlam.”

As previously reported, Mike Johnson indicated on PWInsider Elite Audio that there is a possibility that Brock may not compete at SummerSlam and the event could be headlined by another match. WWE may hold off on having The Beast defend the title later this year.
