WWE’s new deal with Fox could result in a big move for fans of NXT. There is an opening for a second show on FS1 and although some people are leaning toward the idea that FS1 might be airing a WWE news show, which could still be the case, it looks like NXT could be finding a new home as well.

Bodyslam.net’s Brad Shepard reports that the arrangement to bring NXT to FS1 is a done deal at this point. This would give NXT Superstars a lot more exposure but it would also take away a huge part of the WWE Network as well. But the deal was said to be done last week and an official announcement should be out soon. Shepard also said he planned on breaking this news on this week’s episode of Backstage With WWE but it looks like the cat was let out of the bag early.

FS1 sometimes airs live sporting events that could affect the typical Wednesday at 8 pm timeslot, but that might be a bridge they’ll cross once they get to it. The fact is WWE’s new contract with Fox could come with good and bad parts as most things do.

Only time will tell what kind of deal is arranged. They could possibly still air NXT on the WWE Network with some sort of delay, but at this time we’re still finding out what the transition to Fox will consist of.
