Backstage Update On William Regal’s Return

William Regal is the General Manager of NXT but he’s been missing for a while. It was said Regal is dealing with a medical condition that dates back before WrestleMania but it looks like we have an expected return date for him at this point.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that William Regal is expected to be back for the June 21st NXT television tapings. Therefore he will be a part of the next batch of television shows.

He had been staying at home in Atlanta most of the time during his absence from WWE. It was also noted he had not been at any tapings but they were able to shoot around not having a GM present.

Therefore, it looks like we should expect to see William Regal back soon enough as he books the card for NXT’s next TakeOver special at the Barclays Center.
