Shinsuke Nakamura was unable to pull down the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank. He lost in pretty clear fashion as well leaving little reason to continue on between Nakamura and AJ Styles.

By now the question is what WWE will do with Nakamura now after turning him heel during this rivalry. Dave Meltzer brought this up on Wrestling Observer Radio where he proposed Nakamura’s next opponent could be somewhat of a dream match situation.

“You know what you can do? You can have him feud with Jeff Hardy for the US Title and all will be fine.”

Nakamura vs Jeff Hardy seems like a pretty good substitution for Nakamura since he didn’t win a title against AJ Styles. Since Jeff Hardy wasn’t even booked for MITB, only time will tell how they end up carrying on, but Shinsuke Nakamura probably needs to face someone else next seeing how he’s one of the top heels on the Blue Brand.
