Dana White is President of UFC and although that usually means you’ll only find him around an Octagon he made a rare exception on Friday night in Memphis.

When the Beale St Brawl went down this year local advertisements promoted that Dana White would be at the event along with indie wrestler Matt Serra so that already created enough buzz. But when Dana White jumped in the ring for a spot it not only resulted in the finish of the match but also a great reaction from the crowd.

People were very happy to see Jerry “The King” Lawler run in and make the save with the assist from Dana White. The UFC President certainly proved he knows how to handle himself in a sticky situation.

Only time will tell if we see Dana White make other pro wrestling appearances but this was also being filmed for an upcoming show on UFC’s programming as well so a better version of the encounter is on the way as well.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
