As noted earlier, Brock Lesnar could possibly be leaving WWE after he drops the Universal Championship title as he’s being paid on a per appearances basis by the company. Where would this leave Paul Heyman if Lesnar leaves is a question many are asking.

According to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, The Advocate for The Beast could also be departing from the company. Barrasso reported in his weekly update that Heyman’s contract expires at the end of August, shortly after SummerSlam and there are currently no plans for him.

If Lesnar is, in fact, finished with WWE following SummerSlam, then Paul Heyman would also be finished with the company as there are no current plans for Heyman outside of his role as Lesnar’s on-screen advocate. SummerSlam takes place on Sunday, August 19, which would make Heyman a free agent by the end of the month.

It will be interesting to see how things play out over the summer.
