We previously reported about WWE’s new pay-per-view schedule and how WWE is going to start lengthening events for whatever reason. But it sounds like they could have even bigger plans for WrestleMania.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the plans for Mania include an approximate end time for midnight. This means they’re not even going to worry about wrapping up the event by 11:00 pm EST.

WWE could essentially go for as long as they want to with the WWE Network but there are actually pay-per-view deals still in place and some people buy events individually. Those contracts have more of a time limit on how long PPVs can be. But it looks like WWE is giving them the heads up that WrestleMania could go into the next day.

The kickoff show matches are also slated to start at 5:30 pm EST meaning Mania could be around 6 1/2 hours if not longer this year.
