No Way Jose jumped to Raw with his conga line and he had a nice little winning streak. But all of that ended this week on Raw when Baron Corbin pinned him clean after an End Of Days.

Dave Meltzer pointed out a fact about Jose on Wrestling Observer Radio after Bryan Alvarez noted that with The Revival and Titus O’Neil also in the match there was no logical reason for No Way Jose to be defeated like he was.

“That was all he was ever going to be they just sped up the process. There was no reason he should have lost that fall whatsoever.”

Meltzer went on to compare No Way Jose to Jimmy Villiant because back in the day they tried not to beat Jimmy because it would kill his gimmick of dancing and a few big moves. But once they started beating Jimmy Valliant his career was over and No Way Jose was then called, “the new Adam Rose” because there was no design for him to be a top guy at all.
