Backlash left a lot of people wondering what was happened and not in a good way.

Dave Meltzer opened up about Backlash on Wrestling Observer Radio where he pointed out that if fans didn’t like the matches on the card the blame might not have fallen totally on the entertainers in the ring.

“The agents lay out every one of these matches and yes a lot of people had bad matches so the agents might be at fault in many of these cases.”

It looks like if we’re going to blame anyone for the results of Backlash and how much we enjoyed the event in the end, it could come down to who produced the match.
