Possible Title Match Spoiler for Sunday’s WWE Backlash Event

It looks like there is a very good chance that Carmella will be retaining her newly won SmackDown Women’s Championship title at Sunday’s WWE Backlash event in her match against Charlotte Flair.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider mentioned that it’s too early for the championship to be switched back and he doesn’t see her dropping the title just yet, especially with the way WWE has been presenting her on television.

The belief is that Carmella will retain with possibly the help of the IIconics. Charlotte will continue to portray a babyface chasing after the title following Backlash.
