Samoa Joe’s Replacement for Upcoming MSG Live Event

As previously reported, Samoa Joe was pulled from the upcoming Madison Square Garden WWE Live Event in his scheduled match against Roman Reigns. Reigns’ opponent for the event was unknown at the time of press.

In an update, Mike Johnson reported on today’s installment of PWInsider Elite Audio that Jinder Mahal will now be facing Reigns on the card, as well as other WWE Live Events. Johnson revealed the news while he was discussing the planned Joe vs. Reigns’ matches at house shows.

“He’s being pulled off a lot of those house shows. They’re going to be doing, including at Madison Square Garden I was told, Roman vs. Jinder.”
