To say that Seth Rollins is a hard worker would be one of the biggest understatements of all time. Last week, The Architect went all around the globe and successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship everywhere.

In addition to all those title defences, Monday Night Rollins ran wild as he retained his title once again against Finn Balor in the main event of last night’s RAW. Furthermore, he is scheduled to defend the title once again against the Miz at this Sunday’s Backlash.

Rollins was asked about this superhuman defence streak in a backstage interview on last night’s RAW. Here’s what the former World Champion had to say about it:

Dude, I don’t even know. I don’t know the right answer to that question. Sometimes, you know, you try to come up with all these amazing anecdotes or reasons why you’re the best or why, you know, you can go on and you can work harder than everybody else. But at the end of the day, sometimes you just go.

At the end of the day sometimes you just hit the switch and you go and you don’t really know how you get through the next day but you manage; and if I can manage just a little bit better than the next guy manages, if I can manage just a little bit better than The Miz can manage on Sunday then I’ll walk out of Backlash the IC Champion. If not, then maybe the IC Title’s going back to SmackDown. But I will do everything in my power to make sure that doesn’t happen.
